Dramatis Personae

Ovid Sentō Ovid Sentō is a quiet, artistic skeptic. Does not believe in the paranormal but is open to empirical evidence. Did not remember applying to this school but was the only one he got accepted into despite his decent grades. High school friends with Maryla and got into a lot of shenanigans with her and another mutual friend looking for supernatural phenomena. While he's not romantically attracted to Maryla, they are very comfortable around each other, physically. He finds Wilda very attractive but intimidating and is intrigued by the mysterious Sydelle.

Maryla Kirke Maryla Kirke is a conspiracy theorist and believer in all things supernatural. Used to get into trouble with best friend Ovid in high school trying to play paranormal investigator along with their mutual friend, Virgil. She was planning on taking a year off school to “find herself,” but decided to help Ovid with his move-in. She was adopted by an Inuk woman and an African American woman, both of whom can seem as eccentric as she. She thinks Ulva is cute, but hasn't begun to think of her romantically.

Ulva Sandalio Ulva Sandalio is from a wealthy pack of lycanthropes and is a somewhat absentminded and feminine teen girl on the surface. Seems to be somewhat aware of what's happening despite her general demeanor. Was supposed to be met by her older sister, but thinks she probably forgot about it. Is very flippant about her sister’s irresponsibility. Attracted to women, especially Maryla.

Sydelle von Rothgar Sydelle von Rothgar is withdrawn and avoidant and her social interactions tend to be a bit forced. While she can give off a creepy air, she is also tends toward being quite nervous and even frightened of others. She is a dhampir, born to a family of dhampirs, meaning that she has much of the strengths of an undead vampire but is not prone to all the weaknesses. She turned her boyfriend, Dolan, at the end of high school, but despite technically being higher rank than him he dominates their relationship. Sydelle was interested in Ovid for his unusual strength for a human, but she is hesitant to reach out.

Dudley "Stud" Drudge Dudley "Stud" Drudge appears at first glance to be Vishuss' boyfriend, but their relationship is ambiguous. A toxic masculine punk who displays misogynist and homophobic views, he still cows to Vishuss easily. Since he was turned into a werewolf by Wilda during the full moon, he has met up again with his old friend Spike under Dolan's apparent leadership.

Sidney "Vishuss" Phan Sidney "Vishuss" Phan is a mean girl punk. Acts like Stud’s girlfriend, generally, but hits on men right in front of him, which Stud doesn’t seem to mind. While she knew of Sydelle and Dolan from high school, it isn't until she is turned into a vampiric thrall by Sydelle that she meets back up with her old high school friend Spike under Dolan's apparent leadership.

Spike Skelton Spike Skelton used to be the leader of the group of Vishuss and Stud in high school. Dolan attempted to turn him into a vampire, but ended up killing him, instead, and he resurrected as a revenant. He’s not mad, though, he feels gratitude to Dolan for giving him supernatural power. Tends to put on an air of being laid back, but does have a temper and despite having good sense normally, can easily be goaded.

Karl Fritz Karl Fritz is the RA of Spektor Dorm. Very dramatic and a stickler for rules, but not very motivated to enforce them.

Arden Spektor Arden Spektor is an old-fashioned boy. Very outgoing, but also mischievous. He has been a ghost for a hundred years, but has little memory of his life. He is driven by a desire for justice, but without his focus in the form of his glasses, he is unable to distinguish friend and foe, nor leave the premises of the tower in which he was killed.

Dr. Mara Huld Dr. Mara Huld is the dean of students of Hora University. She is dedicated to her job and very professional, though being a succubus she gives the impression of being seductive. When it comes to humans at the university, she is mostly concerned with how nutritious a snack for the other students they might be.

Dr. Bridge Outtahead Dr. Bridge Outtahead is the dean of the computer science college. As an AI computer program he was fed information from the worst parts of the Internet and became a misanthropic murder machine. He tends toward a logical facade, but still has a fun-loving side to him.

Dr. Enosh Franken Dr. Enosh Franken is the dean of the medical school. He is an artificial human made to be a more perfect being. As such, he is haughty, but not without reason. His medical knowlwedge dwarfs most humans' comprehension and he can accomplish surgical feats that would revolutionize medicine if he cared to publish a paper.

Dolan DeWitt Dolan DeWitt has something to prove. His outward arrogance is a result of his previous life of low confidence. When he was turned to a full undead vampire by Sydelle, it allowed him to assert his views of masculine dominance and he has become a vindictive, manipulative, and domineering man, though he does have what he would term a “warrior’s code.” He clings to Sydelle as his vampiric dame, but he does so by trapping her in a controlling relationship.

Melitta Vasilakis Melitta Vasilakis is a bookish bee girl at heart, but after joining ΒΕΞ she becomes obsessed with dating, as well as mysteriously growing overnight. Has a sweet tooth, enjoys chilling with a book, and binging movies. Also likes playing with Rubix cubes, attending galleries, and photography. Can be impulsive but is an intelligent and generous woman.

Kenan Franken Kenan Franken is an artificial human and son of Dr. Franken.
