About

Horror U began as an idea way back in the year 2003 when the author was still in high school. Inspired by manga and independent American comic publishers that represented more than the superhero genre, as well as webcomic artists of the time, the author continued to develop ideas for Horror U throughout high school and throughout adulthood. After many false starts, during the 2020 pandemic Horror U was finally published on DeviantArt and Tumblr, and then later on Tapas. After six years of difficulty with these platforms due to censorship, Horror U's first seven issues were finally moved to an independent website, where you now find yourself.
